Between September 15-16, 2023, the Republic of Moldova will host a particularly important event in the medical field worldwide. It is about the “International Medical Tourism Forum – Moldova 2023”, which will transform Chisinau into an essential platform for discussions in the global medical community. The Medical Tourism Association of Moldova is the main organizer of this pioneering event.
Professors, scientists, doctors and leaders from medical institutions from more than 15 countries, including Saudi Arabia and Morocco, will participate in this forum. It is a unique opportunity to lay the foundations of a solid international collaboration in the field of medical tourism.
The Republic of Moldova has a vast potential in terms of medical tourism, but it is still unexploited, representing only 5% of the market. However, due to the policies and development strategies implemented, it is estimated that this sector could grow up to 20% in the next five years. With a well-established medical infrastructure and high-quality medical services at competitive prices, the Republic of Moldova is ready to meet the demands of the global market in the field of medical tourism.
The International Medical Tourism Forum – Moldova 2023 is organized for the first time by the “Global Healthcare Travel Council”. Within it, specialists will be able to share experiences and discover the latest trends and innovations in the field of dental treatments, in vitro fertilization, cardiological interventions and plastic surgery.
The event is organized by the Medical Tourism Association of Moldova, in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Culture, “Western NIS Enterprise Fund”, “AmCham Moldova”, “Invest Moldova”, ANTRIM, and benefits from the strategic support of the Competitiveness Project and Rural Resilience and Future Technologies Project, funded by USAID. Private clinics in the country, such as “Medpark International Hospital”, “Spitalul Polivalent NovaMed”, “Clinica Familia”, “Imperial Dent”, “FALA Dental”, “Dental Implant House”, “ON Clinic”, “TransMed”, “Liv Hospital”, “Kirrano” and “Smile dent”, support this event of major importance.
